Painting with Acrylics

This workshop will introduce the beginner and intermediate painter to the world of acrylics. Participants will discover all the effects that can be achieved with this highly versatile medium. John is an award winning acrylics painter and has a BFA from Parsons School of Design.

Composition & Design

Composition is a complex and important subject in painting. Improve your drawing composition by learning about formal elements of picture design, how to draw thumbnail sketches, and chose better composition elements for all your art in any medium!

A class critique of the completed work will follow.
